As Board Member at LEAD Conservation, I aim to bring a human-centred and psychologically informed perspective to leadership, culture, and organisational development. My focus is on how teams truly function; how trust is built and how patterns emerge. Within the board, I help create the reflective space needed to stay aligned and intentional as we shape LEAD’s long-term direction.

Having spent fourteen years working in clinical psychology and psychiatry, I specialised in human behaviour and relational dynamics. In recent years I’ve brought that expertise to organisations, supporting leaders and teams in navigating complexity and building collaboration that holds under pressure. I’m particularly interested in the underlying beliefs and interactions that determine whether a team simply functions or truly becomes a cohesive, high-performing unit.

This perspective translates naturally to LEAD’s mission. Conservation is as much about people as it is about wildlife: the resilience and leadership of ranger teams determine the success of every operation. I feel closely aligned to LEAD’s integrated approach to training, culture, and personal development, and I’m committed to contributing to it.

Outside of work, I draw energy from movement, nature, and friends and family. Time outdoors helps me reset, and sport keeps me focused and grounded. These moments reinforce my belief that effective leadership, whether in conservation, business, or everyday life, begins with presence, curiosity and fun ;)
